About Handcraft Curio

My name is Melissa Clout and I’m the artist behind Handcraft Curio.  I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and moved with my family from San Francisco to Philadelphia in 2016.

I’m a small-batch ceramic artist and design my work to have an organic and minimalist feel and a focus on form and function. I strive to create timeless, artistic and functional pieces that elevate and ground the everyday moments they're made for.
